FACILITIES

Our family owned and operated equine facility was established in 1967 by Terrie and Nancy Sapp. The 30 acre farm is situated in the small town of Kernersville, North Carolina, just off interstate 40 between Greensboro and Winston-Salem.

Kelly Sapp established the Advance training location in November of 2007. The 23 stall barn and spacious indoor arena offer opportunity for year round training regardless of the weather. Just 30 minutes down the road from Kernersville, the Advance location provides the perfect complement to the pastures, stable, and sliding track of the homeplace of San Up Farm. Kelly trains the horses and riders in Advance, while preparing his two and three year olds for another successful year filled with futurity prospects and great horses.

Furthermore, Eddie Carter's 30 acres of rolling green pastures in East Bend, NC support the San Up Farm breeding program by pasturing broodmares, weanlings and yearlings. San Up Star, among other incredible equine athletes that have more than paid their dues to the farm enjoy retirement at the Carter farm until nature forces us to bid them farewell.
